Where Technology and Magic Collide

Covering the story of one planet per season, this podcast is a free to listen to immersive audiobook!
Imagine if you will, what humanity may look like in the far future. By far, I mean super far. I’m talking millions of years.
Most of us would picture a Star-Wars-like scenario where characters travel the cosmos meeting aliens and rogue humans alike. This is a great setting, but I want to take a different approach to the future.
I believe that as we evolve to fit all these new planets, and technology grows ever more diverse and advanced, the boundaries between science fiction and fantasy would begin to blur… to the point where there’s almost no distinguishing between the two. In some places, technology and magic would become one and the same. The stories that could be told in a setting like that are endless, and not something you see covered much in media today.
Join me in this journey as I tell the story of one planet per season. This is “Stories from Beyond the Stars”, and I’m your host, Rene Reul.

Want Stories in a Shorter Format? No problem!

Covering a different world each episode, this podcast has immersive short stories for those who don’t want to commit to a long audiobook!
Are you a fan of stories but tired of all of them being the same? Then this podcast is for you.
A fairy girl tries to escape into a hostile futuristic society. Humans live under a giant’s house, where one wrong move means death. A woman is granted elemental powers by technology indistinguishable from magic. All of these stories and more will be explored, seamlessly combining the genres of science fiction and fantasy. With an incredible soundtrack, otherworldly sound effects, and professional voice acting by yours’ truly, these stories won’t just entertain. They’ll provide a completely new experience you’ll find nowhere else.
Taking place in the same universe as my other podcast, Stories from Beyond the Stars, Short Stories from Distant Worlds serves as a preview into bigger things this channel has to offer. So, what are you waiting for? They’re free to listen to, and the first episode is out now! See you there.
